Job Description

As a Project Manager of METIS Data Acquisition System, you will be responsible to ensure that all projects are delivered on time and within scope. The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and follow a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Create and analyse project’s technical specifications
  • Review of technical documentation & electrical drawings
  • Manage and support the pre-installation, installation and post-installation actions
  • System configuration, evaluation and troubleshooting
  • Remote commissioning
  • Reporting, documentation, deliverables
  • System upgrades
  • Reply to customer’s technical questions

Requirements

The minimum technical requirements for the Project Manager position are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Automation, Mechanical
  • Relevant working experience
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Project Management skills
  • Clear and effective communication
  • Client orientation
  • Multitasking with the ability to handle multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent command of oral and written English

The following qualifications will be considered an asset:

  • Linux-based systems
  • Knowledge of common industrial electrical protocols (RS485, RS422, RS232, 4…20mA, CAN).
  • Knowledge of common communication protocols used in Maritime (NMEA, Modbus, CAN Bus, other custom widely used protocols)
  • Basic knowledge in Local Area Networks
